MAAT Nation – Who We Really Are
We need to clarify the MAAT Nation (Body), its Groups (Organs), and its Projects & Partners (Limbs). Please remember this to use in your dealings and communications with others.
MAAT Nation – a group of Melanated Indigenous People who have chosen to become members of a currently self-determined non-federally-recognized and non-state-recognized tribe known as Ma’at American Aborigine Tribal (MAAT) Nation. We know and understand that the Colonizers have need of recognition by us, not the other way around. Countless years of amalgamation has claimed our roots, heritage, language, and culture across the many waters of this planet. Our focus is on returning to our original tribal cultures of morals, ethics, and spiritual values that reflect who we really are, with the freedom to travel back and forth across the various waters, as did our ancestors. Our members are from various tribes and locations, both nationally and internationally. We are committed to self-sufficiency while acknowledging our inter-dependence with others, and are therefore continually open to networking and cooperating with other organizations/ groups/ nations. Our projects are many and diverse, all with the goal toward uplifting and healing first, the disenfranchised Melanated Indigenous People, and then using this as a means and a catalyst to uplift and heal the entire planet of people.
Ma’at Indigenous Nations’ Trust (MINT) – a 508c1a nonprofit, recognized as an ecclesiastical entity (“church”) by the IRS and therefore tax exempt.
Geri Lorraine Enterprises, LLC – a limited liability company whose principal owner is the MINT, thereby providing Geri Lorraine with the same tax exemption status as its principal owner.
Ma’at Cooperative Group, LLC – a limited liability company owned by MAAT Nation
MINT Unincorporated CID – the MINT’s unincorporated nonprofit association, an unincorporated common interest development
MAAT Crystal Village Community – land development, solar energy, and agricultural project
MAAT University (MU) – online learning and book publishing
MAAT Nation Magazine – online writing publication
WNTBD Today – podcasts and videos
Heritage Education Land Prosperity (H.E.L.P.) Center, Inc. – a 501c3 nonprofit and charitable organization and partner with MAAT Nation
Crystal Village Community Time & Energy Exchange – a community exchange group that networks with local, regional, and national individuals and groups to exchange resources and human time and energy as an alternative to money
When any group/tribe/nation/organization networks and connects with MAAT Nation, it becomes associated with all of the above by extension.
